Although the 'Tomatometer' is notorious for being a bit harsh sometimes, there's no denying that the website has become one of the most trusted sources for measuring the quality of a movie. ‘Paper Heart’ is the Romance Film for People Who Are Sick of Typical Romance Films

If you've been watching the romantic comedies or romantic dramas that Hollywood has put out in the last couple decades or so, you might agree that the storylines are getting dry and the movies are getting quite predictable. Maybe it's because movie makers have been focusing a little too much on Nicholas Sparks stories and those like it and not branching out enough. (Sparks now has had 10 books turn into movies since 1999, with another, 'The Choice' to be released in 2016). Wait — Philip Seymour Hoffman was in that?!

It's been exactly two years since the passing of actor, director, and producer Philip Seymour Hoffman. For 20 years, Hoffman was a regular presence on the big screen, often playing distinctive supporting roles; his most recent being Plutarch Heavensbee in the popular Hunger Games film series until his death in 2014. Film lovers will always remember Hoffman's biggest performances, from 'Hungers Games' to 'Capote' (for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor), so we want to change things up by highlighting some of his lesser known or forgotten roles instead. Adventures of Tintin is More of a Grown-Up Movie than a Kids Movie

Adventures of Tintin (2011) is the animated Steven Spielberg film that you might not have known existed but you definitely should watch. Spielberg directed and produced the film alongside Peter Jackson (LOTR). Most animated films are created for younger audiences but Adventures of Tintin appeals to both kids and adults alike, and may even be more enjoyable for adults. (more…)
